Hi all: I have a mid-2011 MacBook Air that's been serving me well running El Capitan. I'm a little hesitant to upgrade it to Sierra. I just didn't want it to slow down too much, as in the case of many Apple devices. There are some features that I know will not run on the Mac just because it doesn't meet the hardware requirements. I'm not in a hurry since my work IT department has asked us to hold off until they finish testing the OS.

Rtusb D2870 For Mac Sierra 2017
I have an old mac mini circa 2005. No airport card is installed, apparently the only way to gain internet access is via an ethernet cable. I have a wireless connection in my home and the router is quite some distance so running a cable is not convenient. Am i able to use a Wireless N adapter? If so how do i install the software. I have copied the software onto a thumb drive. The files are now on the HDD of the mac mini y dag a drop. I am a complete newbie with Mac. How do i install the files, i.e. drivers etc. for the wireless adapter? All help is greatly appreciated.
